There are moments when the outside world becomes quiet and we can finally hear what lives inside us. This retreat is an invitation to that space.

Nestled by the river at the edge of the forest in the Făgăraș Mountains, Cabana Șapte offers the perfect intimate setting: warm wooden interiors, fireplace, natural light, and the constant gentle sound of water. Here we will slow down, tune in, and let the handpan become a mirror for our inner world.

The Experience

For 7 days we will embark together for a journey of awe into the sound. Every day we will dive deep into the language of the handpan — not only technique, but the art of expressing what cannot be said with words.

You will explore:

• Rhythm

• Melody

• Harmony

• Structure

• The mindset for composition and improvisation

• Storytelling through music

• Technique, musicality, and flow

• Jams Sessions

• The Great Master - Silence

There will be daily practice sessions, group sound journeys, moments in nature, and plenty of free time plus a bonus trip to the famous Bran Castle, a landmarlk of Transilvanya. The first evening I will offer an intimate live handpan concert just for our small circle.
