Our Sanctuary for this Retreat: Barnhaus

Tucked in the historic heart of Transylvania near the ancient village of Viscri, Barnhaus is an architectural marvel. It masterfully blends Nordic minimalist elegance with centuries-old heritage — soaring wooden beams, tactile microcement surfaces, and vast glass walls that invite the ever-changing Transylvanian light to dance across every creative space.

The entire estate becomes our private sanctuary (normally accommodating 12-14, we keep it intimate at 7-9). Here, the architecture itself supports deep presence and inspiration.

Sometimes the unpredictable happens and we have to change plans. Here is what you should know in case you cannot attend anymore:


• 80% refund (minus bank/transfer fees) until 31 December 2026

• 50% refund between 1 January – 28 February 2027

• No refund after 1st March 2027
